Family and Friends,
I wanted to let everyone know that we got some devastating news a few weeks ago and have spent the last few weeks sorting out all the details. Test after test, Doctor appointment after Doctor appointment. Mike has been diagnosed with stage 4 Gastric Cancer. We are beginning his treatment at Roper St Francis this Wednesday. We are praying for a remission. Please feel free to reach out to him with encouragement, as well as any prayers you can offer. He is handling this with grace and dignity. All of you that know Mike, will understand his tenacity. He is in overall good spirits. His famous go to phrase when you ask him how’s he’s doing, “If I was any better, I couldn’t stand it”.
We are praying for a miracle. We both believe in those. Thank you all for thoughts and prayers!
