The iPod was the first Apple product I owned. I got my first, a third generation, for my birthday when I was 16. I’ve spent the last month digging out my iPod collection and trying to bring them back to life. Thanks to a video I saw on YouTube I decided to upgrade one of mine to use an SD card instead of the mechanical hard drive. I also I decided to replace the front of the iPod with a clear version. Finally, I heard about Rockbox, a third party operation system for MP3 players, and installed that as well. This is the end result. I don’t know if I will use it on a daily basis but the iPod will forever be in my heart. ❤️
